After months of being inactive, the Team Desk of T-Games have revealed plans for the News section of the T-Games Website to be shut down - and replaced by the T-Games Newsletter.
The T-Games Newsletter is an active monthly newsletter by T-Games that summarizes events and other news that happened in the month prior. CEO Billy Anderson states: "Many members of the T-Games Team are extremely busy at the moment with personal matters, meaning that a lot of us don't have the time to work on certain services. Unfortunately, the News section of the T-Games website is one of the services that none of us currently have the time for - after all, the T-Games Newsletter is a currently active service, and would report the same news. If we were to keep the News section online, it would continue to not be updated - therefore giving the T-Games team a bad reputation to new visitors of the site who are not aware of the situation many of us are in at this moment in time. It is possible in the future that the News section may return, however (considering our current situation) it seems ideal for it to come to a close." A date for when the News section will be shut down has not yet been finalized.

Early this morning on the 23rd of October, T-Games Officially announced via the T-Games Wiki that certain information regarding the T-Tokens and T-VIP systems have been lost.[1]
A few hours later, T-Games then revealed that the Information was lost due to T-Games selling a section of its database to a Mobile Operator, without backing up the information first. Until the situation has been 100% assessed and what can be archived has been, the T-Tokens and T-VIP systems have been put on a hiatus. Billy Anderson, today, has officially stepped down from his position of CEO for the first time since the creation of T-Games back in April of 2011.
Billy Anderson has given the role of CEO to Liam MacBean, who was a previous Co-Head of the Team. GameEx, the T-Games Studio behind the GameExpo Line, NeXT Generation Line, Quadratum Line and the SoundWave Line have officially announced that development on all of their projects is undergoing a hiatus.
This means that for the first time since launch, development will grind to a halt on the NeXT - and for the 2nd time since launch, development will grind to a halt on the GameExpo. GameEx claim this is because of physical difficulties, and that they will return to development shortly. T-Games claim they have plans to release a new 'Contact Centre', that will replace the 'Contact Us!' page on their website.
The new Contact Centre will allow users to contact T-Games via e-mail, PSN, Contact Form, or 1-to-1 via a new Skype account named 'T-Games Contact Centre'. The 'Contact Us!' page has been on the website ever since it was launched, nearly 2 years ago. Even when the site has undergone construction, the page still remained online. T-Games Claim that the Contact Centre will also remain online, however the 1-to-1 Skype Account may not in those situations. The Skype Account 'T-Games Contact Centre' will be accessible to all Skype Users, and provides quick, easy communication between the T-Games Team and the Community. The T-Games Contact Centre is planned to launch late August-early September. T-Games has now successfully rolled out all of it's new logos for it's new 'Solar' design change. The T-Games Website and T-Games Wiki have also had design changes to fit with the new logos. Below is a slideshow showcasing the new logos, many of which are up for download in the 'Downloads' section of the T-Games Website. For nearly a year T-Games has provided a social hub and Clan for Call of Duty players on the Call of Duty: Elite system. However, that has now changed due to T-Games terminating their involvement with the system.
The T-Games clan has been removed, and no longer will there be any more meet-ups and sessions on the Call of Duty Games. CEO Billy Anderson claims this is the case because of "lack of support and enthusiasm from the team". "We initially started the project about a year ago, and gained a couple of supporters. However, due to a lack of support and enthusiasm from the team and the players involved, it has been decided to terminate all involvement with the platform until the unforeseeable future." - CEO Billy Anderson In an attempt to catch up with the modern designs of the 21st century, T-Games has officially stated that it will be rolling out a new design over the next few weeks.
The result will be a new T-Games, U-Music, T-Pod and T-Games Sapphire Logo, and a new design change on the T-Games Wiki. This will be the first time since the beginning of T-Games (April 27th, 2011), that any of the logo's would have been changed (not including the re-mastering of logos). GameEx have recently revealed plans to release a new Quadratum to the public some time this Summer.
They claim the new console will not be a sequel to the Quadratum, nor will it be continuing the Quadratum line. It will simply just be a Cartridge Player for people with left-over Quadratum Cartridges to play their games on an Official console. "This is just us being friendly to the community. We are not continuing the Quadratum line - it will remain Discontinued and Unsupported." They claim the new Quadratum will be called 'Quadratum Ludio' (Ludio means 'Player' in Latin). Development on T-Games Sapphire, T-Games' easy-to-use internet browser, has finally continued after 3 long months.
Development originally stopped due to the Trial of Visual Basic that Sapphire was Developed on Expiring, leaving no canvas for it to be developed on. That was, until U-Music Manager Dillon. M downloaded the full copy of Windows Visual Basic and is continuing progress. v0.0.3 has been created, however not yet released whilst other features are added. |
